Autism & ADHD Assessment

Do the experiences of neurodivergent adults resonate with you, suggesting a possible missing piece of self-understanding? You may be seeking official diagnostic assessment and documentation, or perhaps you are curious about self-identification and want a supportive space for exploration.

I offer a variety of neurodiversity-affirming services for adults seeking clarity about autism and ADHD. In my formal assessment work, I incorporate current research and modern DSM-5 interpretation tailored specifically to late-identified neurodivergent adults. I also offer non-diagnostic identity exploration support, neurodiversity-affirming psychotherapy, and clinical consultation for therapists seeking to better support their neurodivergent clients.

What "Neurodiversity-affirming" Means to Me:
  • Recognizing different neurotypes as a natural part of human diversity that come with both strengths and challenges.
  • Delighting in neurodivergent ways of being and valuing the contributions of neurodivergent people.
  • Prioritizing internal, lived experience in assessment. Affirming self-identification as a valid pathway.
  • Viewing diagnosis through a critical lens and recognizing historical and cultural factors that have shaped current criteria.
  • Working to create a sensory friendly, low-demand assessment and therapy environment.
  • Being open to questions about my own neurotype, in service of representation and safety.

Frequently asked questions

The human soul doesn’t want to be fixed, it simply wants to be seen and heard. The soul is like a wild animal - tough, resilient and shy. When we go crashing through the woods shouting for it to come out so we can help it, the soul will stay in hiding. But if we are willing to sit quietly and wait for a while, the soul may show itself.
